Based in Los Angeles, the band plays live as a trio and is fronted by singer and guitarist, Chris Im, who writes all the music, lyrics, and masterminds the brand. Im was born in Seoul, South Korea, and immigrated to the States at an early age. His upbringing in Virginia left much to be desired and often felt alienated and unaccepted. After an introduction to the guitar in his teens, he gravitated towards Grunge, finding solace in music that conceded on its cynicism towards societal norms. Such identity crisis has left him with a profound introspection on darker themes surrounding loneliness, depression, and lack of emotional intimacy.
The band was formed in 2018, following a time in his life where Im’s deeply personal narrative arc became a topic he wanted to share through sound. His struggle with heartbreak and depression has led to music that elicits the gut-wrenching pain of past love and pent-up regret.
